This past weekend, I had the privilege of chairing a session at the Cockerill & Co Flooring Business Alliance Quarterly Strategy Meeting. The event brought together some of the most innovative and growth-focused flooring retailers and contractors in the UK, all committed to elevating their businesses through collaboration, resilience, and strategic planning.

The day featured a series of unique resilience exercises, including a dramatic leap from a 21-metre-high ledge, a spirited round of laser tag, and a 10km walk. It was an honour to award the prize for best presentation to Amanda, who impressed with her clear, actionable SMART objectives for her business. A runner-up prize went to Andy, whose presentation stood out for its entertainment value and fun approach.
